Me and my business trip - OR - A day of speed tourisim in Seattle
Did I tell you about my trip to Seattle? Well, I finally got my pictures on the computer. Let's take a look, shall we?
I will not bore you with details. I was a little touristy whit my picture taking, but hey, I was a tourist. I didn't eat all morning, and the airline charged for food (I forgot to bring cash on the plane). So by the time I landed I was starving. Cousin Sara picked me up at the air port and we headed straight for lunch. We had sushi! Warning: terrible picture to follow.
It was amazing! Possibly the best sushi I have ever had, but then, I live in Phoenix. There's no fresh fish here. The sushi chef was cool and I think he was flirting with us. He made me a flower out of a radish.
No trip to Seattle is complete without a stop at the first Starbucks ever.
We did the Pike's Place Market walk. It was pretty cool. I was reminded of a similar walk I took through Quincy Market in Boston ten years ago.
OK, so for those of you who don't know, our family name is Shea. So, here is Cousin Sara at Shea's Lounge/Chez Shea.
We walked along further an happened upon the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. The chocolate artistry was amazing!
Random useless fact: Here's Bill Gates' house.
Spring was breaking it's way through the Pacific Northwest.
We happened upon a cemetery. It was beautiful! (I swear I took more pictures, but here's the only one I can find with the trees in bloom)
We found Bruce and Brandon Lee's graves. It was March 31st. The same day Brandon Lee died. We were kinda tripped out by that.
Then we found the "Black Sun"
And here's a picture of me:
On my speed tour of Seattle I got to see the Space Needle right when it started to rain.
On our way out of town it was hailing!
So that was day 1.
I had work stuff to do after that. There ended up being a party in my room the next night. Here are some pitures I do not remember.
Ok, my daughter saw this next picture and said, "Mom, do you love that girl?" I said "Of course I do, that's my cousin."

I love you too, Shel.
